The Futures First Workforce Program Returns

Applications for our 6th Cohort are Now Open!

 

In partnership with the Delaware State Department of Health and Social Services, the Futures First Workforce Development Program equips participants with essential technical skills through an innovative and engaging esports industry framework. This 3-month program is designed to prepare participants for the modern workforce by offering two specialized tracks:

• Coding & Event Planning: Learn programming, game design, and foundational web development.

• Content Creation & Event Planning: Master digital marketing, live streaming, video editing, and event production.

 

Participants also gain access to exclusive certification opportunities, such as:

• Codecademy's "Build a Website with HTML, CSS, and GitHub Pages"

• Coursera's "Esports Management Specialization"

• Udemy's "Prompt Engineering for AI Bootcamp"

• Google Digital Garage's "Fundamentals of Digital Marketing"

 

Program Benefits

• Paid training or internships with Futures First Gaming or one of our designated partner companies.

• Hands-on project work and portfolio development.

• Eligibility for certifications in high-demand technical skills.

 

Who Should Apply?
Applicants are reviewed and deemed eligible by the State of Delaware. Acceptance is not guaranteed. High school juniors and seniors are especially encouraged to apply.

 

Program Location
The program will take place both virtually and in person at FFG Central, our headquarters located in Wilmington, DE.
